Having worked around the world with international sports teams including the Athens 2004 Olympic games both as a Video Analyst and Chiropractor, Nick brings tremendous compassion and care to his patients.

David Miller DC, our senior Chiropractor, and Clinic Shareholder has been involved in healthcare since the 1970's, first as a massage therapist, then later as a Doctor of Chiropractic for the last 25 years. He is from California, USA, where he had a large personal injury practice near San Francisco He has also been a long term expat, working all over the world, including Ghana West Africa, Qatar, in the middle east, Indonesia, and lastly Malaysia.He's been here in Kuching four years now. He and his lovely Indonesian wife Icha enjoy travel, cooking, eating out, and beach related activities. A quiet evrning at home with a good book, a good video or some close friends is their idea of a good time.

Kenneth Corbett, D.C. | Board Certified Chiropractor

Kenneth, originally from New Zealand, has been a practising chiropractor for 26 years both in Auckland, NZ & London. His introduction to chiropractic was as the result of a serious motorcycle accident he suffered at aged 20 years which resulted in 6 months in hospital fighting for his life followed by 3 months in a specialised spinal rehabilitation unit learning to walk again. When being informed by consultants that he would always have a limp & would never run again Kenneth sought the help of a rehabilitative chiropractor who devised a rehabilitation program for him of spinal adjustments, exercise & nutritional supplements & within six months Kenneth was back playing sports. The results were most impressive & within time Kenneth decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic. He studied at the renowned Sherman College of Chiropractic USA & graduated in 1987 with both Honours & Clinical Excellence award for his graduating year. 

Katie Mok, B.Sc (Hons) Certified Chiropractor

 

Katie Mok graduated from International Medical University (IMU) with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chiropractic degree. She volunteered to represent IMU Chiropractic Interns to perform spinal assessments and provide Chiropractic treatment to the Muslim community in Masjid Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, Bukit Jelutong in Year 2015. Katie has also been a volunteer to various IMU Open Day events under the Chiropractic department. She has been involved in the Tenby Carnival Event and Great Eastern Viper Challenge and assisted in spinal assessments and provide treatment under Spine & Joint Asia in collaboration with 3M Futuro.

Zoanne Yong, B.Sc (Hons) Certified Chiropractor

 

Zoanne, graduated from International Medical University (IMU) with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Chiropractic degree. During her final year at IMU, she participated in the IMU Chiropractic Mission Trip to Manila, Phillipines, as a student volunteer for 14 days. It gave her the opportunity to treat people from different walks of life; from farmers, children, pregnant women to Paralympic athletes. She also had the opportunity to adapt to different working environments and communicate with people of different languages and cultural background.

Prisca Chang, B.Sc (Hons) | Certified Chiropractor

 

An honors graduate from the pioneer batch of Chiropractors from International Medical University (IMU), Dr Prisca further pursued an intensive year of internship at IMU Healthcare, where she was exposed to extensive training in various chiropractic techniques. Dr Prisca is a passionate Chiropractor whose practice focuses on improving people’s quality of life, whether it be through proactive treatment, lifestyle education or emotional support. As a female chiropractor, Dr Prisca emphasises on women’s health issues, geriatric care and paediatric care. Serving the community is always her passion and she feels very honoured to be part of each patient’s healing process. Dr Prisca ultimate goal is to interconnect public how to restore and maintain a healthy journey

Phillips Ong, B.Sc (Hons) | Certified Chiropractor

 

Graduated from Malaysia’s first chiropractic school in 2014. Phillips has been practicing in East Coast of the Peninsula Malaysia since he graduated and has been helping the people of East Coast to understand better about Chiropractic. Treating patients from a vast diversity, Phillips is able to communicate in the 3 most basic languages (English, Chinese and Bahasa Melayu) in Malaysia and provides conservative treatment and referrals when necessary. Special Interest includes Posture and Ergonomics, Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation

Piers is a UK trained Osteopath, with many years of experience. He has been working in Malaysia since 2010, and brings with him a strong background in competitive sport, having cycled for the UK junior team.

Piers practices on a Tuesday and a Friday in Tropicana golf and country club and the rest of the week including Sunday's in Great Eastern Mall, Jalan Ampang

Jonathan graduated from Masterskill University and College of Nursing and Health, Kuala Lumpur in 2009. He was attached to the Medical Support Personnel Division for the Paralympic Games, KL in 2008 and attended numerous internships in sports centres around Kuala Lumpur. During the H1N1 epidemic, he was posted to Putrajaya Hospital for a brief period of time to treat and care for terminal patients within the ICU and neonatal wards.With 5 years of experience treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries with cutting edge technologies, he is now currently working as the Head of the Physiotherapy Department in Spine and Joint Kuching. His ultimate goal is providing affordable alternative solutions to patients and to promote preventive medicine through exercise and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Nina Chin graduated from INTI International University with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She has 3 years of experience, working in hospitals where she mainly dealt with ICU care, Hydrotherapy, Neurological care, Women’s Health care and Musculoskeletal care. She also has experience in sport injuries as she completed her internship in Majlis Sukan Negeri Perak. She is currently employed as a Physiotherapist in Spine and Joint, Seremban. Nina has participated in various events under different organization, delivering talks for lower back pain, creating posture awareness and posture assessment.

Sheba Mathews, B.Sc (Hons) Physiotherapist

 

Sheba graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Physiotherapy from INTI International University, Nilai in 2016. She has various experiences with musculoskeletal and sports injury cases as she has gained clinical exposure from different hospital settings in Malaysia and India. She believes in seeing patients satisfied and restored back to good health and wholesomeness. She is now currently working as a physiotherapist at Spine and Joint Tropicana.

Elica graduated from AIMST University, Malaysia in 2011. She was attached to a hospital in Penang for a few years practicing her skills. With more than 5 years of experience, treating musculoskeletal injuries, she is currently working in Spine and Joint Sri Hartamas as Head of Physiotherapy. Elica is constantly developing herself with the latest treatment techniques by attending workshops and short courses.

Derrick Ng, BSc. (Hons) | Physiotherapist

Derrick Ng graduated with BSc. (Hons) in Physiotherapy from INTI International University, Malaysia. He consolidated his skills at various government hospitals in Malaysia and has in-depth practice in cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, paediatric and neurology, in Father Muller Medical College Hospital (FMMC), India. Derrick also specialises in gait and sport’s related problems by providing clinical advise, education, movement, exercise, and manual therapy to help improve patient’s mobility and function. While undergoing her training, she gained extensive practical experiences through various clinical settings, both private and government within Malaysia. With 3 years of working experience in an outpatient setting, she has treated musculoskeletal and sport injuries, neurological cases and as well as cardiorespiratory cases. Ajay first graduated with diploma in physiotherapy from MAHSA (Malaysian Allied Health Sciences Academy) Malaysia in 2009. Upon graduating, he then worked together with an American Chiropractor in Malaysia managing athletes and patients who suffers from sport injuries, spine and joint related problem before pursuing his bachelor degree. 

With 5 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, he is currently attached with Spine & Joint Tropicana and has a special interest in treating shoulder and knee injuries, soft- tissue manipulation and post-operative rehabilitation.
