Jeremy Chee has had a back injury and sought treatment at the Spine and Joint clinic. On his visit, he got to know about SpineCor corrective brace for scoliosis treatment and how it could help her daughter. Let Jeremy tell you his story.

While seeking treatment for my back injury at the Spine and Joint, I came across a wall poster of a person with the SpineCor corrective brace. Upon further checks, I came to understand how it can help my daughter, aged 13, who has visible mild scoliosis. After few rounds of consultation with the specialists at the centre, she was on the brace within 2 weeks.

She has a Cobb angle of about 20 degrees. She now wears the brace for 20 hours a day coupled with weekly sessions of rehabilitation exercises under the supervision of the in-house therapist.Since Scoliosis does run in the family, I then took my younger daughter, aged 11, for a check. My younger daughter is not known to have any sign of Scoliosis. But to our surprise, she too was found to have a Cobb angle of about 15 degrees. Though no bracing is required at the moment, my younger daughter has begun the weekly rehabilitation exercise and being monitored closely by the centre.I am very glad to have taken my children for a scoliosis check.
